ore Grate ball mill for grinding ore
ore Grate Ball Mill
1.for cement, silicate, ceramic
2.wet or dry ball mill
3. overflow or grate ball grinder
Most ball mills used in China at present are cylindrical. The bearings adopted are slide bearings and the lining plates adopted are wave lining plates. Thus these ball mills are cumbersome, make loud noise, and are not massed produced. Utility design is aimed to produce a new type of ball mill that is light in weight, low in cost, low in energy consumption, low in produced noise, low in steel consumption and high in productivity.
(1) Main bearing: The main bearings are double row radial two-roller bearings which largely reduce the size of main journals. Not only is the weight of mill reduced, but also friction is reduced and consumption of useless power is reduced. Besides, they ensure self-aligning, prolong service life, and is easy for operation and maintenance.
(2) Cylinder: A section of conic cylinder is added at the material discharge end of the original cylinder, which not only increases effective area, but also enables media in the cylinder to be reasonably distributed. Balls with relatively large diameters are within the cylinder where raw ores are fed. As the ore blocks are finely grinded in the cylinder, the balls are automatically classified. The closer the balls are to the ore discharge mouth, the smaller the ball diameters are. Therefore, the functions of various balls can be brought into full play to get production of finer grains and increase treatment capacity by 12% to 25%.
(3) Transmission part: When large gears are installed in the part connecting the straight cylinder and taper cylinder, the stress state of the main bearings is improved and torsional stress of cylinder is reduced to get the model and diameter of gear to be correspondingly reduced. The weight of ball mill is thus reduced by 30% to 50% and manufacturing costs are reduced.
(4) New circular groove liners are adopted to enable yield to be increased by 10%, power consumption to be decreased by 18%, steel consumption to be reduced by 40% and noise to be reduced by 5 to 6db.
(5) As when the above measured are adopted, the motor power can be reduced by 20% to 40%, great economic benefits can be gained if ball mill of this series is used. Even the saved electric charge through the use of such ball mill can offset the investment into the ball mill.
II. Application
Such products can be widely applied in industries such as nonferrous metal, ferrous metal, and non-metallic minerals as well as chemicals and building materials to grind materials. Wet grate ball mills are used for the wet grinding of ores of various hardness degrees while dry grate ball mills are used to the dry grinding of ores and materials of various hardness degrees.
III. Structure and Working Principle
Such product is composed of working parts such as feeding part, entering part, cylinder part and charging part, as well as bearings, transmission parts, electric parts, basic parts, etc.
